Visa Application

The Embassy's Consular Section is located on
14th Floor, Capital Tower, All Seasons Place,
87/1 Wireless Road, Lumpini , Pathumwan , Bangkok 10330
The opening hours are from 0900-1200 Monday to Friday except public holidays and can be reached at 02-660-1140 or consular@qatarembassy.or.th
Documents needed for each type of visa are as follows:
1) Official Visa
- Official or Diplomatic passport
- A letter from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs listing the names and passport numbers of the officials/diplomats who are going to Qatar and the purpose and duration of their stay.
- Two 2 inch photos (non white background)
- A completed application form which can be downloaded from this [ link ]
- No fees required
2) Tourist visa
- Apply tourist visa online via www.gov.qa or contact embassy with the following documents.
1. Letter of employment stating salary and position
2. A copy of personal bank account statement for the last six months
3. Two 2 inch photos (non white background)
4. Copy of hotel reservation
5. Copy of air line reservation
6. Completed application form (download)
7. Visa application fee of Baht 1,200
8. Valid passport
*** Business visa
- Staff of companies that have business partners (sponsor) in Qatar should ask their partners to issue visas for them through the Immigration Department in Doha
Other types of visa
To apply for a visit visa or work visa, the applicant must contact her/his sponsor in Qatar.
