The Embassy's Consular Section is located on

The opening hours are from 0900-1200 Monday to Friday except public holidays and can be reached at 02-660-1140 or consular@qatarembassy.or.th
The Visa and Legalization Section of the Embassy of the State of Qatar issues three types of visa:
1) official visa
2) tourist visa
3) business visa
Documents needed for each type of visa are as follows:
1) Official Visa
- Official or Diplomatic passport
- A letter from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs listing the names and passport numbers of the officials/diplomats who are going to Qatar and the purpose and duration of their stay.
- Two 2 inch photos
- A completed application form which can be downloaded from this [ link ]
- No fees required
2) Tourist visa
- Apply tourist visa online via www.gov.qa or contact embassy for more information.
3) Business visa
- Letter of employment
- A copy of the company’s certificate of commercial registration
- A copy of the company’s bank pass book showing transactions of the past three months.
- A copy of hotel reservation - A copy of air ticket or flight booking
- Two 2 inch photos
- A completed application form which can be downloaded from this [ link ]
- 2,400 baht non refundable visa application fee
Other types of visa
To apply for a visit visa or work visa, the applicant must contact her/his sponsor in Qatar.
